Seed sowing has started for our summer bedding plants and vegetables - which must mean Spring is on its way! 🌷⛅️

Obviously Summer is a wee way off at the moment and we have no idea what the restrictions will be like come May, but we are going ahead with our seed sowing programme as usual 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

At the moment we are planning our Spring boxes which will be available in a few weeks time. Last year your support was fantastic and we will let you know more details soon, but are working on it being the same situation as last year with 'click & collect' and home deliveries available 🚛🌷

More details will follow nearer the time!

Would like to give a big thanks to Insight travel who donated over £80 last week to us. Unfortunatley we look like a group of bandits in the photo's but that can't be helped in these difficult times.

It was great to catch up and hopefully it won't be long until we can properly visit.

When we say something is happening we don't hang around! 😉

Last week we announced that we had been awarded a grant for the purchase of a new glasshouse from the Scottish Governments' Community Climate Asset Fund. Well, today the glasshouse contractors have arrived on site to start dismantling the old one!

The fund is to help local community projects in their recovery from the coronavirus pandemic in an environmentally friendly way, so to help meet these outcomes not only will the new glasshouse be a refurbished second hand frame but as much glass as possible will be taken off site, cleaned and re-used elsewhere.

If there is anybody who could put any of the glass panels to good use before they are taken away please get in touch and we will be happy to give them away for free. Maybe you or someone you know has a greenhouse or an allotment hut that is in need of replacement panes? Please share this with them as we won't be able to keep them on site for long. They are all 2'x 2' greenhouse glass and just need a wee clean up.
Please phone us on 01475 744516 to arrange collection.📞
